Hi, Everyone!!
This is my first "BOY"card. Usually for my other cards I do a lot of frilly stuff, ribbon etc. I had to keep reminding myself it is a Boy Card. It was a little strange, but I got through it. It challenged me. It was all good. Enjoyed every moment. Also my hubby helped me with this card as well. How cute is that? I was shocked!! I guess that means I have to make more boy and men cards.
On to the card. This image is a Mo's Digital Stamp Image called Boy On The Pot. He is colored with the following Sketch Copic Markers. Skin - E13,E11,E21, Lips - R20,Hair-E49,E47,E25,Clothes & Truck-B26,B24,B23,B34, B32, Pot - C3,C00,C1, Book-E55,E53,E51. Prisma Pencils with Mineral Spirits - China Blue, Caribbean Sea, Cool Grey 50%. Card shape is Grand Scallop Circles & Grand Circles. For a long time I have been wanting to do a Grand Scallop Circle card. Here was the opportunity!! Cards Stock - Stampin Up - Baby Blue, Ballet Blue, Chocolate Chip, DP-Heidi Grace Designs Glitter Boy Stripe. Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts. Marianne Creatable Dies Circle Frame- On the left and right. Airplane charms from my stash (Here is a tip these charms had loops/rings on the tip to hang on a chain. What I did. I cut the loop/ring with a scissor and filed it down with nail file. It was awesome. I did not think the scissor would cut the loop/ring it did).
As for the wording for my card. My mom gave me cool ideas. I just could not fit it on the card. Mom next time. I will use your words for another image. Love you!! She was excited to be apart of this card. A cute story regarding the mini scrabble pieces. I have to tell you. I was playing with the words and getting ideas and then hubby came in and said I got one? Yes I was stunned. LOL. So this was hubby's wording for card. Love you honey!!Also I want to thank Debbie for giving me great ideas as well. For the question mark on the mini scrabble pieces- Circut Cartridge - Plantin Schoolbook. Thanks so much for stopping by.
