Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. I want to thank everyone for the AWESOME comments regarding my Sketch Copic Storage unit. It is amazing! I was coloring last night till 5am (I know when you are in the grove time flies LOL) and it was so easy with this unit. Everything was at my finger tips. Also today is my hubby's birthday. Happy Birthday Sweetie. Actually it is his birthday all month. LOL. We going to my mom's for a little family party today!! Anyway on to the card.
The image I used is a http://whimsystamps.com/ it is called New Baby Bear Ready for Bed. Aren't these Teddy Bears so cute! I have tell you. I am getting into animals more and more. Thanks to my friend Cristina with her Penguin card. LOL. This image was so much fun. It is more of a free flowing, brush stroke coloring so you will. This image is so versatile and possibilities are endless. When I was thinking about image. I wanted it to be a baby card. I guess I did not succeed. Oh well. LOL. It is all good right? This image is colored with my Favorite Sketch Copic Colors- B95, B93,B91, Teddy Bears- E25, E35, E31 for texture I put colorless blender on a washcloth and dabbed it very softly. Prisma Pencils used - Cool Grey 50% -shadow around the image, Burm Ombre - Teddy Bears, Slate Grey- Teddy Bear clothes all blended with Odorless Mineral Spirit .
As for the Card Stock base my dear friend Vicki uses these card stock bases for all her cards very pretty. Thanks Vicki. I was intrigued to try it. Can I tell you? I love it. They have so many cool designs and they come in a pack of 50 with envelopes. This is called Scallop Edge it is a 6 x 6 card base. Here is the link http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk. Additional card stock used- Stampin up- Bordering Blue, DP- Linen Closet with Glitter pack DCWV the colors in this paper stack is so nice and soft, Kraft - Recollections card stock- die cut with Cheery Lynn Dutch Scallop Square, White doily and White Lace from my stash. Tag-Marianne Creatable Decorative tag. Flat back Pearls and Hat Pins are from Judy's store she has amazing prices and she ships quick - http://pizzazzaplenty.blogspot.com/. Swirly Corners- Make it crafty.Magnolia Doohickey Leaf and Swirl die with Wild Orchid Crafts flowers applied white pearl paint to give it more a vintage look.Martha Stewart- Frond Punch. Ok alot of the cards I have been seeing has Mini Scrabble Pieces on cards so cool. It is funny both my mom and mother in law they love to play scrabble love you!! I was so tempted take my scrabble pieces out and apply it to the card. I did not not. I just love the way it looks. I will using these scrabble pieces again. Smiles. I am trying to get out of my comfort zone. LOL. Also I forgot to sew on my card again. Duh! That would have made my card pop. After this I going to print out a sign sew on your cards.
